Shaun Knighton
Chiropractor
Shaun began his professional career in Canada, graduating from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby with a degree in Accounting and Management Systems. After developing an interest in healthcare and science, he returned to university to complete further science studies before moving to the UK to train at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic. He graduated in 1990 as part of the final Doctor of Chiropractic programme.
After working in chiropractic clinics across Derby and Birmingham, Shaun opened his own practice in Heanor in 1996. With more than 35 years of experience, he has treated people of all ages, from babies just a few months old to patients in their 90s.
Shaun uses Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT), with treatment focused on improving movement, reducing discomfort, and supporting long-term wellbeing. He takes time to understand each patient’s individual needs and tailor care accordingly.
Outside of the clinic, Shaun enjoys working on and riding motorbikes.
